With over 20 years’ experience, John is a consummate and accomplished professional as well as a pioneer in the field of filtration solutions in South Africa. A seasoned businessman, John is the founding partner of SUPCO Filtration Solutions. He is a known and trusted name in the industry and has built up a long-standing relationship and a repertoire with clients from every walk of life, as well as some big A-listers. John’s fastidious and meticulous approach to both project delivery and client satisfaction is part and parcel of his success and lasting reputation.

Herman Geustyn

Operations and Technical Director

I have 18 years experience in food and beverage industry. Inclusive of the following… maintenance planning, annual shutdown planning and procurement of all critical spares as well as servicing of filling labelling and packaging equipment. Service and maintenance on all conveyor equipment.

In 2008 I joined a Beverage Company as a line supervisor. After a few months I was promoted to Line Manager, where my duties included water filtration systems.

In 2020 I became the Technical Manager and was responsible for the utility department.

I’m am proficient encompassing the above. Experienced in Krones, Kosme, Acepak, Heuft inspection equipment, CFT fillers etc.

I then moved to the beer industry as a technical machine specialist and my main focus was running the utility and bottling departments.

In 2024 I joined Supco Filtration as the Operations Director to broaden the spectrum of a technical venture in the business.
